About Us

Molly Bay Kennels is situated on 5 acres of beautiful country side.  We are on a quiet road nestled  between trees and a large pond.  There are trails for walking and clean comfortable rooms for boarders that are air conditioned in the summer and heated during the winter.

Molly Bay Kennels is owned and operated by John and Siegrid Edworthy.  It was established in 1987 originally for breeding and raising Newfoundland dogs.  In 1991 we had a brand new facility built to board all breeds of dogs and cats.  We are a medium sized kennel with 28 individual indoor/outdoor runs.  We have two sizes of kennels, one for larger dogs or two from the same family and smaller ones for medium and small dogs.  Dogs are boarded in secure kennels which have an additional security perimeter fence with roofs.  Music is played continuously for your pets listening pleasure.

Cats are boarded in a separate room with windows viewing the pond or the reception area.  They also have a TV to watch.  We have six, two level condos which comfortably house 1 cat.  We also have large floor crates for older cats or for two cats from the same family.

Personalized care is given to each of our guests.  Pets on medication, special diets and needs are always welcome.

All pets must have current immunization.

A Veterinarian is on call 24/7, if yours is not available.

Toys and bedding may be brought from home for added comfort.  Please be sure that they can be laundered while they are here.

A pet bathing service is available so that your pet will be clean before going home.

There are many reasons why you may need to board your pet.  Vacations, emergencies (fire, flood etc), illness, home renovations, guests who do not appreciate pets, business trips, females in season to name a few.
